Detelinara: Color & Melancholy
This series looks at Detelinara, a residential neighborhood in Novi Sad, through its ordinary architecture, open spaces, passing figures, and vivid color. Made in emigration, the series grew from my experience of the area as a place of calm and everyday continuity. The photographs stay close to the visual texture of the neighborhood — its apartment blocks, transitions, surfaces, and intervals of light — while expressing a quiet gratitude toward a place that offered a sense of refuge.
